It’s Always a Good Day When My Technology Works

If I can just successfully log in to my email, catch a cell signal, and launch that web meeting connection, I feel pretty powerful. A true technology master ... and I’ve barely begun my day.

How did we ever become so dependent on technology? Read more of Pam Evans’ blog posting HERE.

Nonprofit organizations are increasingly challenged to meet the growing needs of their constituents with diminishing resources. By forming the right partnerships, nonprofits can leverage their financial resources, skills, and capacities to ensure their missions are secured. Even more importantly, successful partnerships bring together a talent pool of leaders who can more creatively address complex issues and needs. Join Debbie McKeon and the leadership of several northern Michigan nonprofits to discuss details of some partnerships that have formed in our region and that have other regions looking to us as leaders in this emerging field. Specific models and examples will be discussed and shared as well as practical tips for developing and maintaining the relationships.

Entry to advanced-level practitioners, volunteers, and board members.

Attention Arts and Cultural Organizations

MCACA has entered into a partnership agreement with Travel Michigan to produce a Pure Michigan ad that is focused solely on Arts and Culture.

In order for the campaign to be successful, they need your participation on the Travel Michigan Website.

There are some parameters to follow, but this is a free service, so please take some time and place your organization (property in the Travel Michigan jargon) on the Website. They need photos as well, so please contact Kathy Lowell of Travel Michigan for specifications and parameters.

Travel Michigan National Campaign will be launched on March 14, 2011. The Arts Council partnership will be around April 1, 2011
