BDG: Role Playing Game Club

Our new RPG Club is designed to shine a light on role playing games that don't have strong - or any - organized play. Run in traditional convention style (one-shot), typically with pre-generated characters, or characters built through play. Each month we will invite our local GM's to volunteer and show off their favorite role playing games. Those interested in running an event should contact Michael to arrange specifics. This event is run in our Pay-to-Play format, in which participants a $5 product voucher (store credit) that they can use immediately or save for later. About the Game Center
How does the game center work?
The game center is available for open gaming from 10am until 5pm (or when our evening events start). The game center is closed to open play during our scheduled events. You can use the game center to play hobby games, at no charge. Occasionally, there are special events that require an entry fee, but the money is usually used as prize support for the event. The game center is intended as a community center, as opposed to a profit center for the store. By supporting the community, our community supports us back by buying our games and snacks.

Where can I find out about center events?
You can view the calendar online here. We also post events on several bulletin boards in the store, including a friend finder bulletin board where you can post requests for fellow gamers. You are strongly encouraged to create your own events for in-store play. If you don't see one you're interested in, consider proposing one to a staff member. Most of our events are created this way. Our only requirement is that your event be open to everyone and be related to products we sell.
