This month's newsletter focuses on the GA Department of Economic Development's efforts to assist communities and individuals with marketing to visitors.   Last month we covered the visitor data and research available on their website.  Did you know that the State also sponsors a yearly travel guide that is offered free on their website? - Click here to view -  You can order a guide to be mailed to you or download the guide to your computer.

The travel guide, and accompanying website, include information about our hotels, local events and attractions.  If you own a business that would be of interest to visitors (i.e. hotel, restaurant, shopping, activity, etc....) you can become a partner and upload information about your business for free.  You can also upload information about specials and deals you have.  Visitors can then use this link to find your website, rate your business, and link to a map of your location.  The businesses are listed on the site based on how much information is available about them.  The more information, logos, pictures, etc... you include, the closer to the top of each search list your business will be. Please feel free to call the CVB (912-756-2676) with questions or for assistance in getting your business' information listed.
