One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure

It's Sesame Street like you've never seen before!

Edmonton, AB - On January 29, TELUS World of Science - Edmonton brings you and yours one step closer to Sesame Street and the Moon with the new Full-Dome show One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure. This adventure in the Margaret Zeidler Theatre transports viewers from Sesame Street to the Moon with Big Bird, Elmo and new friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu.

Through colourful graphics and the educational stylings of Sesame Street your children will not only learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun and the Moon but the interconnectivity of our world as a whole.  With the help of the relatable Sesame Street Muppets, One World, One Sky teaches children in an age-appropriate language about astronomy while helping them realize the stars seen from Sesame Street are the same stars shining in China's night sky and their own backyard.

After the show, the adventure continues with a 15 minute live Sky Show showcasing the planets, stars and constellations visible in Edmonton's night sky at this time of the year.  With Big Bird, Elmo, Hu Hu Zhu and TELUS World of Science, One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure is an educational exploration the whole family will enjoy.

 As with all Full-Dome shows, One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure is included with the purchase of a General Admission ticket and FREE for Members.
