Seven Days Until

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition Sets Sail From

TELUS World of Science - Edmonton

on February 20, 2012

Edmonton, AB - With the highly acclaimed Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in its final week at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton, organizers urge the public to see the Exhibition before it concludes its stay on February 20.  In addition, 2012 is the centennial anniversary of the sinking of Titanic, so there has never been a more poignant time to relive the story and the history of Titanic.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition delivered countless journeys back in time, allowing visitors to relive the powerful story behind the legendary Titanic's short voyage from construction and destruction to eventual recovery.  Visitors will have the opportunity walk her decks, peer into her cabins, and to connect with the Ship's passengers and crew through personal stories and artifacts, some of which are on display for the first time since recovery from the ocean floor 3,800 meters below the sea's surface.  As they enter the Exhibition, visitors are given a replica boarding pass and assume the identity of a real Titanic passenger as they move through a series of dramatic galleries.

More than 22 million people worldwide have taken the emotional and thought provoking journey through Exhibition.  In four months, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition has had a powerful impact on all that have visited.  Diverse audiences of adults, teens, children and seniors have experienced the Exhibition.

Tickets to the Exhibition can be purchased in advance online at www.edmontonscience.com or by calling 780.451.3344. General Admission is included in the ticket price.
