Experience the Season with TELUS World of Science
Edmonton, AB - TELUS World of Science - Edmonton is the place to be this holiday season with affordable, festive fun for all ages. Visit TELUS World of Science starting December 18 until January 2 and experience daily holiday themed programming and other hands-on activities:
- Explore Wheels, Wings and Waves: A LEGOŽ World of Transportation. Now in its final weeks at
TELUS World of Science, this innovative exhibition showcases the history of travel on the ground, in the air and on the water with creations made entirely of LEGO Bricks! Hurry, this exhibition closes January 2.
- Holiday Music Magic in Full-Dome. Featuring holiday music classics choreographed with vivid artistic animation and all-dome scenery, this new full-dome show in the Margaret Zeidler Theatre (MZT) will have audiences dancing in their seats.
Also playing daily in the MZT: The Celestial Railroad, The Digital Universe (live show) and Secret of the Cardboard Rocket.
- The Light Before Christmas in IMAX. This popular IMAX film paying homage to the legendary book The Night Before Christmas features stunning Stop-Motion Animation that fills the IMAX screen with lavishly detailed sets and fascinating characters. It's destined to be a new holiday favourite.
Also playing daily in the IMAX theatre: The Wildest Dream: Conquest of Everest, Horses: The Story of Equus and Dinosaurs Alive!
- The Science of Toys. The TELUS World of Science lobby will be graced with the smiling faces of the interpretive staff daily between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. TELUS World of Science staff will host interactive stations for all to enjoy including the Science of Toys where they reveal the science behind all different toys we know and love.
All this plus five themed Exhibit Galleries, Science Demonstrations, and the TELUS World of Science Robots on location daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. From LEGO to Lights, Music to Science, TELUS World of Science offers a holiday season to remember!
