New Exhibition To Launch with Help From Canada's Only LEGOŽ Certified Professional
Edmonton, AB
- The traveling exhibition, Wheels, Wings
and Waves - A LEGOŽ World of Transportation, opens at TELUS World of Science on Saturday,
September 25 to the general public. The interactive exhibit spans 6,000
square feet and showcases the history of transportation with a variety of LEGOŽ sculptures including a
Viking longboat, the earliest aircraft and the Titanic.
During the opening weekend, September 25 and 26, visitors can take part
in sessions to help Canada's only LEGOŽ Certified Professional, Robin
Sather, as he builds an 8 foot tall LEGOŽ Space Shuttle. The
completed model will be unveiled at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26.
Members of the media are also invited to stop by during the set up stage of the
exhibition between Wednesday, September 22 and Friday, September 24. Robin Sather will be available at this time
for interviews.
