Greetings!

Cathy and I have been Mom and Dad to a lot of folks over the years. Of course, our own kids were the first to "tag us" with the title. Through the years of ministry, hundreds more have laid claim on us being their "Spiritual Mother and Father." Many are orphans that don't have parents in the natural....for those we really have become Mom and Dad both spiritually and naturally. But just as real of a relationship is the several hundreds of bible school students that have come through our training as well as nearly 1000 children that have been under our care through the years in Abundant Life Children's Home. There is a bond and relationship that only God can establish.

Open Heart Inspection: One of my favorite courses to teach is on Vision and Goals for Life. We always teach it in the last semester of bible school after the students have a well grounded foundation in the Word of God. The homework assignment is for each student to write their vision accompanied by a five year plan to see it come to pass. A month later every student is personally interviewed and given a chance to share verbally what is in their heart. Wow!!! What a privilege to hear their testimonies and the vision God has put in their hearts. Something special happens the day they share with us in the privacy of our office. A bond that has been developing over the years of training is sealed that day when we give our approval, a smile of confidence and a prayer of faith for their success. They walk out of the office a few inches taller in the Spirit ready to pursue their calling.

Graduation Day:  Seven hundred people packed a hotel ballroom to witness the graduation ceremony of our bible school students. The day had finally come....they took the step from student to graduate. It was a joyous day celebrated with family and friends. Pastor Paul Young from Salem, Oregon delivered a powerful Word to the graduates, chGraduation 2010allenging them to pursue their high calling of God in Christ Jesus. This was a special day for Pastor Paul as well. He has been coming to Thailand twice a year for over 13 years ministering to our bible school students. Loved and respected by all of our graduates, this was his first graduation ceremony.

31 Leg Race....We Are #2 In the World!  TrophyI have to admit....when you have over 700 children under your care, you don't always know everything going on. This was the case recently when sixteen of our boys came into Sunday service late. They were all dressed in sport uniforms and accompanied by their coach. They had just returned from Bangkok where they had won the National Championship for the 31 Leg Race. I didn't know they had gone to Bangkok and I didn't know that a 31 Leg Race was a nationaGraduation 2010l event! It was quite an event though...our kids shattered the national record and currently hold the #2 fastest record in the world only .23 seconds behind the world champions in Japan! The trophy was presented by the Prime Minister of Thailand with congratulations on their accomplishment.

In Memory Of Tanee:  This month we lost one of our youth in a motorcycle acciTaneedent. Tanee has been in our children's home for 12 years. He was an exceptional young man who truly loved the Lord and lived an exemplary life for Christ. Tanee served in our children's church ministry and evangelistic outreaches through our youth group as well as being ready to serve in any opportunity that arose. Tanee is from Mae Kii Mu Noi Village, a village we evangelized and planted a church in over 20 years ago. His mother died when he was very young and his father was an opium addict. Abundant Life Children's Home is where Tanee found life in Christ. His father also came to Christ through seeing Tanee's life change under our ministry. We love and miss Tanee dearly, but are so thankful that his village came to Christ and he found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will be together again.

A Special Thanks....Our son Jason's dream of going to South Africa on a missions trip is soon to become a reality. Over $1,700.00 of the $2,400.00 he needs to raise has come in through the partners of LWMI. This has been a real step of faith for Jason and he has seen the faithfulness of God in his behalf. Thank You! Thanks also to Pastor Scott Mauldin and Everlasting Bread Of Life Church in Clearwater, Florida. They have covered the balance of the money to get the well drilled. The well will be drilled this coming week.

It continues to be one of the greatest honors we have in life to represent you in foreign missions. You have added so much to our lives and thus the lives of thousands of people across the world.

God Bless You Richly!

Charlie and Cathy Milbrodt

PS: We are writing this letter from Australia where we have been ministering the last three weeks. Between ministry times we have enjoyed some much needed R&R. God has been doing some great things. This week we finish our time here with a three day missions conference in Brisbane. G'day mate!
