Greetings!

The Holidays are upon us!

Please be sure to recommend our Centers to your friends who wish to increase their children's self-confidence. A referral is the best compliment you can give us!

The Holidays are coming!

As a reminder, we follow the CFISD calendar except that we are open during the summer. Accordingly, we will be closed for one week at Thanksgiving, from November 20-28, and two weeks at Christmas, from December 21-January 2. All students still receive daily work to be completed. The Winter Break work will be bound into books to keep the work organized for you; students turning in completed, graded and corrected books their first scheduled class day back will receive 10 Kumon Dollars per subject.

Cosmic Club Bonus!

We recently handed out flyers but want to reiterate the fantastic deal Kumon North America is offering: those students who remain enrolled November, December and January will receive a bonus of 10 cosmic points per subject. Remember, your student cannot be absent even one of these months in order to receive this amazing bonus. To learn more about the Cosmic Club Program, please visit www.cosmic.kumon.com. Your student's ID number is the number printed on each homework organizer at the top. You need that number to check point balances and to redeem points for prizes. Any student discontinuing due to excessive absences forfeits all Cosmic Points. Please refer to the site for more information.

Reminder for students enrolled before 2011

Students enrolled by December 18, 2010, were kept at our 2008-2010 rates of $125 per subject for one year. As announced here, that grace period is expiring, and beginning with January, 2012, tuition will be raised to match that of all other students, to $135 per month. Thank you for sharing your students with us and we hope you enjoyed the extended discount at 2008 rates.

Home Grading is Essential for Efficient Progress through the Program

Starting December 1, we will regretfully no longer be offering to grade your students' homework. We offered this on a experimental basis but have found that the forward progress of the students whose work is not graded has slowed to a standstill. Our percentage of Honor Roll students is dropping, and families are less engaged with their children's progress. Remember, when you home grade, your child will spend less time in each level, thus giving you great results faster for your child at a lower cost per level! Who wouldn't want to get more bang for their buck nowadays? We share with you a desire that each child reach his or her potential as soon as possible and it is very apparent that returning to a no-exceptions policy of home grading as set forth in the enrollment contract is the only way to ensure these exceptional results.
