Greetings!

The images from Japan are heartbreaking. Now your child can help children in Japan by donating Kumon dollars. For every Kumon dollar our students donate to help these children, we will turn it into a 25 cent donation for the children of Japan.

The CharityJapan relief

We will send all donations collected to World Vision, an organization known for helping disadvantaged children worldwide. Click here to learn more about its relief efforts in Japan. Our family has been sponsoring a child through World Vision for years and it is a responsible, reputable company which has a focus on children.

I know many of our Kumon students wish there were  something they could do to help. We are providing this route to help them be involved in assistance to the children in Japan.

Most of you realize that Kumon is a Japanese company. The keynote speaker from last year's Kumon North America conference was from Sendai Prefecture, where the epicenter of the earthquake was. While most Japanese Kumon Instructors have been accounted for, it is unclear at this time whether she has been found. You can see this tragedy is very personal for the Kumon family.

We will be collecting money for aiding the children through April 15, and sending it weekly. I will announce at the April 16 Awards Ceremony the total amount donated. Thank you for your help.
