You're Invited to Our Ninth Annual Awards Ceremony!

Greetings!
Every April we take the time out to honor our hard working students. Our Annual Awards Ceremony is held in the Theater at the Berry Center, the CFISD multipurpose facility located at the corner of West and Barker-Cypress Roads. Students from both the Fairfield location and the Steeplechase location will be honored.
This year the Ceremony will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, April 17. The Awards presentation will be followed by a cake and punch reception. Please note that while only those achieving Honor Roll Status or higher will actually receive trophies, even students not receiving awards normally find this ceremony quite motivational. All are welcome to this party. Please come nicely dressed.
I have listed below the Awards to be presented and our list of who is eligible for each award. If you believe there is an error, PLEASE INFORM ME IMMEDIATELY as this is the list we are using to order the trophies. It's much nicer for the children to obtain the correct trophy on the night of the Awards Ceremony. After all their hard work, I really hate to disappoint them. |

Kumon Steeplechase ranks number one in Texas in our students' success!
No other Center comes close.
We just learned that Kumon Steeplechase leads the state in percentage of Kumon students attaining Honor Roll (over 70%) and also percentage of students working two years or more above grade level (over 30%). In fact, in the former category, only 10 Centers in North America exceed our statistics. In the latter category, only 20 Centers in North America exceed our statistics. (Data is based on 2009, before Fairfield was opened.)
Why this outstanding achievement? To me, it's pretty clear: This is YOUR honor. It is your dedication to your child's studies, your diligence in home grading, and your support of your child, that set our Centers apart. I am so proud of each of you and the dedication you have shown. It truly shows in the outstanding results your children enjoy.

See the web site for more info. This film has been endorsed by such leading figures as Newt Gingrigh. In an increasingly flat world, we cannot possibly overprepare our children to compete. I hope you will make plans to join us for this important movie.
June: We will be closed for class for one week in order to hold Parent/Teacher/Student conferences and goal setting. More about this in upcoming Kumonicators. |
