High School: US vs. India and China
I'm very excited to announce that on Tuesday, March 31, we will be showing Two Million Minutes at Kumon Steeplechase. This 54 minute film examines the daily lives of two students from each of China, India and the USA and compares the academic rigors they face. What this film reveals may surprise and possibly concern you. The title comes from the calculation that four years of high school equates to about two million minutes.

It is our responsibility as parents and as Americans to ensure that our children are as prepared as possible to take their places in the world as engineers, educators, scientists, physicians, innovators, and other responsible citizens.
We are proud to be offering this film at no cost on the evening of Tuesday, March 31. There will be two showings: one at 6:00 pm and one at 7:30. Due to the limited seating in our Center, however, we will be requiring RSVPs. Attendees need not be Kumon parents. Please simply email me if you wish to attend, which showing, and the number of seats you wish to reserve. First come, first served.
