We are planning on going to Holden Village this May 14th - 17th!  You will need to miss Mon. the 17th of school to attend.  It is worth it. Each year Holden has special "Youth Weekends".  People from around Oregon, Washington, California, and other states come to these events.  (It is a Lutheran retreat in case you didn't know).  Activities on the trip include hiking, a rec center, talent show, really cool worship experiences, workshops, unbelievable ice cream each night, and a lot more. If you haven't gone, you have to go. Trust me, you should go to at least one youth weekend. These are so popular that we have to register at the beginning of February to hope to get a spot.  Cost is $100 per person.  (Total is $155 and church covers $55 plus other expenses to get there).  We need everyone who wants to go to pay their $100 by Sunday, Feb. 14th.  If you can sign up sooner please do so. We can register as early as Feb. 1st.. We will be heading out right after school on that Friday and will return around 11:59 PM or so on Monday night.  There is more info. at www.tlc.edu/cyfcenter

Coming up on Saturday March 13th - Sunday, March 14th.  Cost is just $20 and includes all meals.  It is in Newport this year.  Games, service projects, fun worship, and lots of othe Lutheran Junior Highers from around Oregon!  Sign up today (talk to Brian). More info. will come in mail soon.

This class is open to all 4th and 5th grade youth from the local area.  It will take place at King of Kings Lutheran and be lead by Pastor Charles, Brian, and a couple female adults to be named soon.  Great class and very important subject.  More info. coming soon.

Sunday, April 4th is Easter Sunday!  Come join us for the annual breakfast and egg hunt.  All SH youth are asked to come help with the breakfast as the proceeds support our summer mission trip and Holden Village trip.
