SH Sunday School!
Starting Sunday, Jan. 3rd the SH youth will be doing a 4 week series on dating and relationships during the SS hour. This is a really good video series that talks about the 4 loves and promotes discussion about a great topic. C U there! |

I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for helping make the youth ministry go. Thank you for your participation in activities, for driving, bringing snacks, being on the committee, for supporting us financially, and all the other things that we need to have this ministry grow. Let's continue to strive to make the youth and family ministry a vibrant one here at MLC. |

 Coming up on Sunday, January 10th will be the next big KNO! This will be for all kids 1st-8th grade. We will be playing games, doing a Bible study, having a skit or two, and a lot more! Perfect event to bring friends to. It will be from 4:30-6:00 PM, be there! |
| SH Snow Trip |

 Friday, Jan. 22nd - Sunday, Jan. 24th. We will meet at church by 4 PM on Friday. Cost is going to be $5. You need to sign up and turn in $5 by Sun. Jan. 10th. We need to have an exact count for rides. Adults going must know how to drive in the snow and have access to a car with snow tires or chains. We may have limited space depending on drivers, so sign up w/ money and form early. We will be staying in Sunriver and going up to Bachelor for skiing, boarding, and sledding. The cost of lift tickets is on your own as well as rentals. A teen lift ticket is $59 and there are other options, just ask me. There are plenty of things to do for reasonable prices if you don't ski. If you need rentals, ask me or go to www.mtbachelor.com for info. |
| JH Multi-church Lock-in |

 Coming up on Friday, January 29th will be the annual JH Lock-In with other local Lutheran churches. This year it will be at Central Lutheran Church in Portland. It will probably go from 8 PM until 8 AM the next day. We will do Bible Study, play lots of games, sing some songs, play broomball at Lloyd Center and a lot more! This is a great event to bring lots of friends to. Much more info. coming soon. Cost will probably be $10 per person (broomball costs). It will be a ton of fun! | Almost that time again! The annual SH Lock-in. Get the date on your calendar now. Friday, Feb. 26th until Saturday morning. As always we will be playing games, doing Bible study, maybe a little music, eating a lot and staying up really late. More information will come soon but for now we will probably do the Polaroid scavenger hunt or something similar then spend the night at the church. Cost will be determined later but will probably be about $5 to help with food. | |
