 Family Movie Night
  Coming up on Sunday, November 8th we will be hosting an all age movie night in the fellowship hall.  It will start at 4:30 PM and go until the movie is over.  The movie is TBD but will be appropriate for all ages.  We will project the movie onto the wall and it gets to be about 8 feet or larger!  So, bring something to sit/lay down on, snacks to share, and friends!  We will have popcorn, drinks, and other "movie" snacks.

Weekly Activities:

· Confirmation- Wednesdays 6:00-7:45PM  
· SH Youth Group meets from 6 - 8 PM Sundays.
· Sunday School 10 AM
· Worship Sundays 8:45 and 11 AM
Summer Mission Trip:

  We will be going to Lapwai, ID on July 25th - Aug. 1st to help do home repairs on the Nez Perce reservation there.  We will be working with about 200 other youth from around the U.S.  We will also spend time in large group worship each night.  The total cost of this trip will be around $500 per youth and they will be paying $300 each.  We have 13 youth and 3 adults going so far.  Please consider making a donation for scholarships.  Some of the youth cannot afford to attend without financial help.  Any level of donation is gladly accepted.  Just mark mission trip scholarship on the memo line or talk to Brian.  Thanks for your past and future support of the youth!

Friday, November 13th - Sunday the 15th.  It is at Twin Rocks Bible Camp in Rockaway Beach.  We will leave at 5 PM on Friday and be back Sunday afternoon. We may need another adult to drive us there. Please sign up by Sunday, November 1st.  If you want to go, sign up, fill out a special permission form and turn in $80.  The total cost is $100 per person and the church will cover $20 each.  If you need further financial support please don't hesitate to ask.  The gathering will host SH youth from ELCA churches from around Oregon and is always a blast!
Candy Fundraiser!
 
  We will be doing a couple of fundraisers during the year to help defray the cost of the mission trip. The first we are doing is candy sales. We will be taking orders between services in the fellowship hall or talk to a youth for further information.  The last day to order is Sunday, Nov. 29th. The next fundraiser will be in late February or early March, keep an eye out for more information!
