Please Join Our Team at the Cool Congregations Workshop: On Saturday, September 12, from 1:00 to 4:30 a group of Milwaukie Lutheran congregants plans to attend this workshop presented by Oregon Interfaith Power and Light and co-sponsored by Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Franciscan Spiritual Center. This half-day workshop will equip a team from our congregation to reduce our community's carbon footprint while building stronger relationship within our community and saving our community money!

Since pre-registration is required to participate in this workshop, and we plan to participate as a team from our church, please contact Cheryl Drewes or the Milwaukie Lutheran Church office if you are interested in attending. Men's Wisdom Circle: Wisdom is best expressed in a place of trust where we can share our innermost thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Scott Borison will facilitate a monthly wisdom circle for men starting Thursday evening, September 3, at 6:30 and continuing the first Thursday of each month through February. Sessions will be at Franciscan Spiritual Center in Milwaukie and will cost $100 for the entire series. Endowment Giving: Mark Sunday, November 8, on your calendar for a lunchtime financial and estate planning event in your church home. The Endowment Board is planning a great meal after church and homily with a guest speaker to help us better understand this type of church giving.
