Pastor Richard Gay leads 2 Homeless Men to commit their lives to God, with prayer support from left, Ron Woodard, Butch Baltimore and men from Judson Baptist and The Bridge Fellowship in Mt Juliet. 
Men from Judson Baptist Church and The Bridge Fellowship in Mt Juliet build a Church in our downtown Nashville parking lot, so 2 Homeless men could be Rescued and Regenerated by God, among 100 Homeless attending who also enjoyed hot coffee, Banquet Meal, Free Clothing, and a Supper to go. 
Frank Taylor and Butch Baltimore encourage Homeless men and women forming the Clothing Bus line. Frank is a former Felon rescued by the incredible ministry of Men of Valor Prison Ministries, and now serves as After Care Coordinator and Couchville House Manager for Men of Valor. Butch brought his Men's Bible Class from Judson Baptist Church to serve the Homeless, and minister in Williamson County prison. 
Serving the Homeless, Hungry, Lame, Blind, Poor, and Oppressed is not optional for Christians. 
TRAINING YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR GRANDCHILDREN, MAKES GOD SMILE, AS WELL AS THE HOMELESS...PRECIOUS MEMORIES.  Tom Dooley from Judson Baptist serves plates of Hot food cooked by Chuck Klusener from Christ Church. Chuck and Delaine will be moving to Kansas soon when his new home is finished, just blocks from their son and grandchildren. Pray for Chuck and Delaine in this transition, for Chuck's business interests to prosper, and for God to raise up someone to serve with us to handle the cooking. Also pray for the Director, because Chuck is just not replaceable as my close friend I depend on and enjoy. 
Martha Pfeil opens Church service with singing and Clyde Beavers sings as he has for the past 7 years. Their singing sets the tone for the Message from God's word. 
While the Homeless gather in front of the bus, the sack lunch factory is behind the bus. 
Unloading the Tables, food, supplies...God smiles when His Church works in unity for HIS purposes, obeying HIS commands to Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked...great training for Mamas and Daughters, Fathers and Sons, Family friends, all kinds, all colors, all Churches. 
ALWAYS THE MISSION OF LAYMAN LESSONS MINISTRIES...TO FIRST UNCONDITIONALLY MEET THE PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THE POOR AND OPPRESSED, THEN SPEAK TRUTH IN LOVE by Preaching the Gospel, Training Disciples, and calling sinners (all of us) to Repentance. GOD SAYS, "I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY"...believe it? SHARE it! BANK BALANCE...<-$3,700.00 (IF ALL BILLS WERE PAID TODAY) Our Step Van still needs diesel engine repair, estimated at $1,500 but probably $3, 000 is closer to it. We need a mechanic to work on it. Our old Motor Home needs $700 for repairs Our operating expenses are behind about $1,300 Our Vehicles need painting and lettering, and we could really benefit from "Graphic Wraps" on our 3 busses, Chevy Van, Step Van, to promote our Ministries or "rent" that mobile space to raise funds. A vehicle wrap on a bus is around $2,000.
Special Thanks to our Board Leaders, the 5 people who donate weekly or monthly to this ministry, to JW who wants to remain anonymous but who provides our nice Apartment Housing for our Training Center. We operate only from these private donations, with no financial support otherwise from any Church other than The Bridge Fellowship in Mt. Juliet, TN.

PRAISE! 8,507 Homeless Men and Women have now been called to Repentance and Regeneration through Layman Lessons Ministries in our 10 years...an incredible honor.
PRAISE! We feed 2,000 Homeless meals weekly through partnership with Belmont Church's Isaiah 58 program and the Rescue Mission, who get 500-700 Pizzas each week from our Food Collection Route. What an HONOR you who care, share!

PRAISE! OUR Clothing bus broke down 3 times on the way to the Street Ministry, the last time blocking the entrance to our parking lot. Special Thanks for the $100 donation by the Butch Baltimore Men's Bible Class at Judson Baptist, which bought the new battery that allowed us to get the bus running and get our Mobile Church built and serve the Homeless.

Downtown Building for full time Homeless and Needy Ministries...there, I've said it. When the Homeless are a priority for "The Church" at large, then "The Church" will unite their efforts to share a building or buildings where we can have truly Christian service lavished in love on the Homeless in need. We need a building where we, The Church, can bind together in scheduled, shared funding and service to the Homeless, to provide a safe, warm building to sleep in, spiritual guidance, and service responsibilites for the Church Members to take ownership of, to share the blessing.
Churches with the Human and Financial Resources AND calling of God to help expand these ministries to fulfill the original vision God gave me from the start for 130 "Franchise Ministries" operated by local Churches across America, with this Nashville Ministry being the "Franchise Headquarters" to Train and provide ongoing support! There, I've said it.
Volunteers to pick up and transport Food Donations wherever you live in Middle TN.
Mechanic for our Busses, Truck, and Cargo Van, to keep them up and running.
Secured Building and/or lot we can use for our vehicles and inventory storage OR EVEN HOST OUR STREET MINISTRIES ON ALTERNATE DAYS.
OPERATIONS FUNDING...we need regular, dependable funding for our Operations. A volunteer with a "couple of hours a week" would help immensely in this area. An Operations Coordinator out there?
SATURDAY MORNING VOLUNTEERS...need 8-12 Volunteers every Saturday MORNING!
We are the ONLY ministry serving hot coffee to 100-160 Homeless, furnishing a 1,600 sf tent with nice chairs and tables, an Hour of Praise and Worship music followed by a full Church service with singing, preaching, spiritual counseling and prayer, a hot banquet meal, a sack lunch to go, and a change of Clothes from our Clothes Bus complete with underwear, socks, and grooming items. Caring for their physical needs provides opportunity to serve their spiritual needs, evidenced by 8,507 Homeless Repenters in this, our 10th year.
