Martha Pfeil (pronounced File) takes time out from leading the Clothing Bus Volunteers to organize and prepare the clothing bus so the Homeless can get a good used change of clothing, to sing for the Homeless to start our Church service. Martha has worked the Clothing Bus by herself somehow during the wost possible weather conditions, and needs 4-5 ladies to step up and be regular helpers.
Ben Floyd, left and Ed Smith head our Setup and Take Down Ministry Team, while the Youth Group from Donelson View Baptist Church form our Sack Lunch Factory along with the Vitz Life Group from The Bridge Fellowship Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. Ed is a long time Volunteer at the Rescue Mission, who heard our Praise and Worship Music, came over to check us out, and has been on our Volunteer Team every week, during the worst brutal weather this winter. We had 18 Volunteers yesterday!
Donelson View Baptist Church Youth Group, led by Brian and Bernie Baker, serve with us regularly.
The Vitz Life Group from The Bridge Fellowship, brought a great surprise in Heather, last lady on the right, who sang to start our Church service along with Martha and Clyde, giving us a great start to the Service that made God smile...and produce 7 Homeless Repenters who committed to changed lives! These folks bring that new, fresh energy so needed by those of us who have been at it several years.
