HOMELESS MEN BEING RESCUED FROM THE STREETS WEEKLY!
LAYMAN LESSONS CHRISTIAN MEN'S TRAINING CENTERS WORKING MIRACLES DAILY TO DISCIPLE MEN INTO PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS!
These two men were Homeless until submitting to God two weeks ago at our Saturday Mobile Homeless Street Ministry and joining our 6 month Disciple Training Program. We do a poor job of informing our supporters and the public of the absolutely wonderful job God is doing by consistently taking Homeless men off the Streets via our Homeless Ministries on Saturday mornings, providing them with everything they need to become Disciples of Christ, training them to obey God and reap the rewards of obedience. I hope you see these faces in your mind for the next few months, and each time God brings them to your mind that you will pray for them as they literally become "new creations", such that "the old man is passed away". It is a process requiring a great deal of effort on their part, and prayer on our part. All our men in Disciple Training rise at 5:00 a.m., required to have breakfast, make their own lunch, be showered, shaved, dressed and well groomed to go to work at 6 a.m. daily, and work 6 days weekly as the Bible clearly commands of men. A work day is sunup to sundown, or 12 hours to us, which is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our guys are taught the Christian Work Ethic, which is to start first, be last to leave, and give 110% every minute we are being paid to work. Our guys are taught to hate evil, run from it toward God, then God will protect us from it. Our guys learn God's Word, God's ways, for every aspect of life. When they complete 6 months training, they are new creations, working for employers that love them because of their work ethic, with security they have never known before...because YOU care!

Board Member Martha Pfeil & Ed the formerly Homeless man are the only Volunteers Saturday, to work with our Training Center Disciples.
Pray for Ladies to help Martha on the Clothing Bus, a mini department store of Clothing and grooming items for the Homeless, and far too much for one lady to serve 100+ Homeless men on that bus.
 Layman Lessons Ministries FEEDS THE HOMELESS INDOORS as partners with the Isaiah 58 Program at Belmont Church at 16th and Grand Avenue. We provide the food to Feed the Homeless here in the Dining Hall being remodeled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, lunch everyday and breakfast on weekdays. Layman Lessons Ministries feeds 2,000 Homeless Meals each week through our Mobile Street Ministries, Isaiah 58, and The Nashville Rescue Mission where we deliver 300 Pizzas weekly. One truckload of food delivered every Saturday, Monday, and Friday, all collected from the network of Layman Lessons Ministries Food Donors, and all delivered to the Homeless directly through one of these 3 fine programs. The truck load of food pictured at top of this Newsletter and below this text was delivered yesterday, collected from Chick Fil A Rivergate, Long Horn Steak House, Olive Gardens and Red Lobsters in Rivergate and Hickory Hollow, Starbucks, Pizza Huts, and Publix in Hermitage.

We feed 2,000 Homeless meals weekly through partnership with Belmont Church's Isaiah 58 program and the Rescue Mission, who get 200-300 Pizzas each week from our Food Collection Route. NEEDS... THIEVES SMASHED A WINDOW IN OUR CARGO VAN PARKED AT KEN BINKLEY SIGN COMPANY AND STOLE OUR PRECIOUS NEW CUMMINS GENERATOR WE RELY ON TO POWER OUR PA SYSTEM, PRAISE AND WORSHIP MUSIC, ALL VITAL TO OUR SATURDAY MINISTRIES. FOR THE RECORD, I HATE SATAN AND HIS AGENTS WHO ARE TOO STUPID TO KNOW THEY ARE DEFEATED! THEY MUST BELIEVE THEY CAN STILL WIN WHEN THE FINAL CHAPTER IS ALREADY WRITTEN! YES, THE DOORS WERE LOCKED AND ALL WINDOWS TINTED DARKLY. THEY LEFT THE COFFEE COOLERS AND A PROPANE HEATER. OPERATIONS FUNDING...we need regular, dependable funding for our new Operations Supervisor, There are expenses, as Ben runs the food collection routes each week. SATURDAY MORNING VOLUNTEERS...we always need 8-12 Volunteers every Saturday MORNING! Martha Pfeil has been the only lady to work the Clothing Bus, where we need at least 5 every Saturday! |

We need local Church groups to step up and provide a group of 10 volunteers EVERY SATURDAY IN 2011.
