8,383 Homeless have now found God at our Mobile Homeless Ministries since 2003!
We see fewer than 100 of these remaining on the streets today!
May 16, 2009, the first Saturday The Bridge Fellowship of Mt Juliet brought their Youth to be trained to Feed and Clothe the Homeless, led by Pastor Phil himself. In this group on the right is a very short Karrie Cherry, who became our top volunteer serving in more ways than I can list. Training Youth is a priority at The Bridge.
Every single Saturday since, The Bridge Fellowship has provided volunteers to get the work done for Layman Lessons Ministries. This past Saturday, we had over 35 volunteers total, the bulk of which were Youth from The Bridge Fellowship, including many of these who continue to grow and be discipled with on the job training.
This is what we do...provide secure environment training to actually do 5 things...
Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked, Shelter the Homeless, Preach the Gospel, and
TRAIN DISCIPLES...how can you truly train disciples without on the job training?
 One Year ago Saturday...training eager little children to serve God is our honor. Largest Altar Call Response in our 8 year history was this July 2007 group of 51 Homeless Repenters seeking God...a Texas Youth Group led by Mike Spillman set the table for it with eager young people who loved on these men with servant hearts that broke down all defenses and barriers to the Good News...a great day!
Hot Banquet Lunch of prime Chicken from Chick Fil A Rivergate, our sponsor since 2003, Italian Sausage, Meat Balls, Lasagna, Pasta from Olive Gardens, Rivergate
and Hickory Hollow, Baked Potatoes from Red Lobsters and Longhorn Steak House, Bread, deserts, snacks from Publix in Hermitage and Antioch.
No wonder the Homeless love to have Church with us on Saturdays! 128 Homeless are waiting at their tables for our volunteers to serve this awesome hot food with hot coffee and "a cup of cold water in Jesus name"...
All serve with great joy to be able to do work for the Lord to Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked... The Bridge Fellowship provided 2 Life Groups today for plenty of help!

Volunteer State Community College Sociology Classes...come each Semester to be trained by Layman Lessons Ministries. Over 250 Vol State College Students to date!

We need local Church groups to step up and provide a group of 10 volunteers for the 1st and 5th Saturdays each month.
I am available to bring the Truth to your Radio or Television audience, Church, School, Civic Group about Homelessness, Addiction, how to organize and implement your own local Mobile Homeless Street Ministries with limited funding...all from someone with decades of service, who has personally lived with the Homeless for 3 years.
