DEMYSTIFYING "DOWN THERE" IN MODESTO,
JUNE 26 FROM 9:30AM-1:00PM (new and improved) I am at the end of my whirlwind East Coast trip, both teaching workshops and visiting family and friends. I had a fabulous time and the weather was superb. The lilacs were in full bloom. I am sure i looked like an addict as i stopped and took in a full "hit" of them everytime i passed a bush! I got lots of reading in and am in the middle of a radical book called, The Chair, by Galen Cranz. Basically, a 220 page rant on how sitting in chairs deforms our spine. I could not agree more and some of you will hear my rant in the next few classes (something to look forward to). A quoted poem from the book that made me laugh: "When I do sit, I do not sit to hearten my behind. I rather do enjoy the fit of chairs as sculptured in my mind. The mind, led by its frugal hoax, when judging chairs, sees style, leaves "sitting" just to common folks: a use of chairs so vile!" -Chritian Morganstern Please join me in some of my workshops in the Bay Area (Oakland, Benicia, Modesto) or if you know someone in Chicago that might be interested, please forward this email.
