Hi All,
I know many of you are missing the yearly retreat to Hawaii. But given the current economic situation i decided to keep it cheaper and local. Please consider joining me for a weekend in a beautiful and peaceful setting 15 minutes from wine country. Details are below.

Long ago when the world was young, Gods and Demons like all other creatures were subject to the old age and death. They desired immortality and set out to attain it. Vishnu, the sustainer of the universe revealed to them that if they banded together to churn the ocean for one thousand years, they would cultivate Amrita-the nectar of immortality. Many challenges and blessings emerged through their toil. Poisons were stirred up, battles between the gods and the demons were waged as well as the creation of the sun and the moon. At long last, from the churnings of the ocean, a divine being appeared and in her hand was a sacred vessel that contained Amrita. The Gods then drank from the knowledge of immortality. In our yoga practice we patiently churn the sea of our own awakening and through the myriad of our challenges comes the knowledge of our own immortality, that of the spirit.

opportunity to deepen their practice through philosophy discussions and
extended asana instruction. Leslie will lead the asana classes.
Leslie will facilitate discussions about Hinduism and the Yoga Sutras.
