Banana Bread
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 2 1/2 cups mashed overripe bananas
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350◦ degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9- by 5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and the brown sugar.
3. Mix the eggs and mashed bananas with the butter and brown sugar mix until well-blended.
4. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture until moist. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.
5. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then turn it out onto a wire rack.
