I found this really cute tutorial over at Make-Baby-Stuff.com. I think this would be a great way to preserve that small precious footprint!

In fact, you could go even a little bit further and make a new stepping stone every year and use it as a path in your yard somewhere or as a walkway.

Ideas From Around the Web
Here are some great ideas to help you celebrate the arrival of a baby, whether it is your own or someone you know.

In the Kitchen
If you would like to make breakfast for your baby, here is a recipe for healthy baby rice cereal. By doing it this way, you know the ingredients used, which makes for a wholesome and delicious breakfast for your little one!

Baby Rice Cereal

Ingredients
2 ounces of brown rice powder
8 fluid ounces of water
formula or breast milk

Directions
To make the rice powder, grind brown rice in a blender or food processor. This is best achieved by grinding in small quantities--but to make the powder REALLY fine, you can use a coffee or spice grinder.

Bring the water to a boil. Add the rice powder, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.

Simmer for about 10 minutes (don't forget to keep stirring, or the rice will stick).

Then stir in enough formula or breast milk to give the consistency that's best for your baby.
