| Dreamstime.com Have you ever looked at the prices of how much it costs to wash your car these days? I can remember a time when it cost me around $2.00 to wash my entire vehicle, but nowadays, it can run anywhere from $6.00-$10.00--and that is just for the washing part! That doesn't even include the inside detailing!
This week's newsletter will hopefully give you some insight on ways to frugally clean your vehicle and keep it clean. (I know. . . we live in our vehicle a lot too, so it is almost impossible to keep it clean all the time!)
Here are a couple of tips that I have learned just in the last couple of years about cleaning my vehicle. Maybe these can help you!
- Make it a family affair and get everyone involved. Give each family member a specific job. This helps the detailing go faster.
- Use a shop vac to clean the carpet. It works just as good as the vacuum at the car wash.
- Instead of buying the more expensive Armor-All for the dashboard and other vinyl, use baby oil. It works just as good and cleans and protects
I hope you enjoy this newsletter on car detailing!
Until next week,
Molly

Hey, I Can Make That!
| Who doesn't have tons of trash in their vehicle? I know I do! I mean, we could hang an old grocery bag in there to throw the trash in, but if you want something a little more stylish, why not try this handmade vehicle trash bag on for size?
I found this tutorial at Chica and Jo. Never heard of them? Their site is pretty awesome!
You can access the tutorial for this trash bag by clicking HERE. While you are there, be sure to check out some of the other cool stuff you can find at their website!

In the Kitchen
| Last night, I made this new recipe that looked so delicious on paper.
It was even more awesome after it was done and I was able to taste it! Included on this sandwich
is a combination of all my favorite flavors: chicken, green onions,
cilantro, cream cheese, cheddar cheese--OH! This stuff is unbelievable!
This is THE easiest stuff on the planet to throw together. It will
easily make about 8 sandwiches. This would also be good on some
crackers!
Chili Chicken Sandwiches
Ingredients 1 8-ounce package of cream cheese 2 cups of cooked, cubed chicken 1 and 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese 1 4-ounce can diced green chilies 3 tablespoons of chopped green onions 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon chili powder 4 hard rolls (or use hamburger buns like I did) 2 tablespoons of fresh minced cilantro
Directions In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is fluffy. Stir in the
chicken, cheddar cheese, chilies, green onions, and seasonings. Cut top
off of 1/4 of the rolls; carefully hollow out the bottoms of the rolls.
Fill the bottoms with the chicken mixture.
Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown.
Sprinkle with cilantro.
These go great with chips and salsa or fried potato skins!
