Greetings!
I have invested much time this year in the process of evaluating my life, mission and calling. The following are some of the insights I have been given this year, for your reading pleasure. If I am satisfying my purpose, there may even be little bit of a challenge for your to seek the truth in your own life.
"LIFE"
Nearing my first full year of being in business for myself the first thing that has fascinated me is the timing of my life events. My departure from Corporate America and entry' into Entrepreneurship in January is a perfect example. To voluntarily enter into private business in the worst economic environment in decades would seem foolhardy to most. Having nothing to compare it to, I can honestly tell people that this has been my single best year of business. As is the case in most of my life, the timing must have been divinely inspired. When left to my own devices most of my plans fail quite spectacularly. When I follow the quiet inner voice that we all have, the plan is executed perfectly and I benefit from it in ways I cannot even comprehend.
May we all listen for that quiet inner voice that helps us to keep proper perspective on our lives.
"MISSION"
This has been a year of discovering my mission. Notice I did not say "creating" my mission. It has become apparent to me this year that the plan for my life was well established long ago. My life has merely been a series of "moments of discovery" uncovering small portions of that plan. The mission of my life has become much more clear recently; I am on this planet to help people solve the problems in their lives that frustrate them and hold them back. Thank you to all my friends, old and new, that have allowed me to exercise and practice this mission throughout the year.
May we all seek to discover our mission daily.
"CALLING"
We all have a calling in life that is unique to each and every one of us. We have a part of the grand plan that can only be accomplished by us. We owe it to the world to seek out that calling and, if we pursue it faithfully, trust that we will be cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually. My purpose is being revealed to me a little at a time, as I am able to accept it. Others in my community are awakening to their calling as well.
May we all continue to seek more clarity on our calling.
