Welcome to the Confero Shopper Connector Newsletter!  This publication offers news and information about Confero, Inc. and the mystery shopping industry.  It is delivered free to your e-mail address.  You are receiving this newsletter because you are currently registered as an independently contracted mystery shopper with Confero, Inc. 

You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.  However, if you choose to unsubscribe from this newsletter, you will automatically be unsubscribed from our mystery shopper database and will no longer be eligible to conduct mystery shops for Confero.  This publication will be sent out once per quarter, only four times a year!

If you would like to unsubscribe from our email mystery shop postings, but still remain in our mystery shopper database, please log into your Confero Compass shop log and change your selections in your Shopper Profile.

Why do I like mystery shopping for Confero?

I like mystery shopping with Confero for several reasons. First of all, the Sassie platform is by far my favorite. I mystery shop for 20 companies that utilize Sassie, and at least another 10 who use other software programs and Sassie is the best! Confero also consistently offers high quality shops and the schedulers are responsive to questions. The editors are tough, but they keep me on my toes. Feedback is just as important to me as it is to your clients. Since I began mystery shopping, nearly four years ago, Confero has been one of my favorite companies."

Confero Kicks Off 25th Anniversary in 2011! 25thanniversary
We are celebrating a significant milestone in 2011--Confero's 25th anniversary. Throughout the year we'll recognize and thank our clients and mystery shoppers, who are the reason for our growth and staying power, share stories from the "old days," and feature the number "25" in newsletter articles and other ways. We are excited to kick off our celebration of this important accomplishment with employees, clients, mystery shoppers and business friends!

Adjustments to the Confero's Mystery Shopper Payment Process

Starting this month, Confero will be making a small change to our mystery shopper payment process. Our policy will remain that mystery shopper invoices from the previous month will be paid on or around the 25th.  For example, a mystery shop conducted in January will be paid on or around the 25th of February. The change in the process will be that around the 20th of every month our accounting department will send out a notification to all mystery shoppers who are due to be paid regarding the amount of their payment. We hope mystery shoppers will appreciate this advance notice.

MSPA Gold Certification Workshop Scheduled for March 12thMSPA certification
The Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) has scheduled a Gold Certification workshop in Irvine, California! The cost of the workshop is $125 and it will be taught by Cathy Stucker, author of the Mystery Shopper's Manual and she has also contributed to our Shopper News blog. There will also be several representatives from various MSPA member companies. This is the first of four scheduled MSPA Gold Certification Workshops for 2011. So if Irvine, California is not convenient to you, watch for additional dates and locations soon!
