The Chamber Educational Task Force will be hosting a discussion to develop an agenda and outcomes for the Business Education Summit in April at Touro University. The planning meeting and discussion will be on January 14th at the Vallejo Chamber from 11:30 to 1:30.
The Chamber Educational Task Force has been working hard to engage businesses and support 21st century teaching models to transform our schools. We believe that developing an educated workforce is paramount to attracting strong businesses into Vallejo. Convening and connecting business leaders with the school administrators and city officials will support developing a comprehensive strategic plan.

Pursuant to City of Vallejo Resolution No. 77-838, notice is hereby given that there is currently one vacancy on the PLANNING COMMISSION. Any citizen interested in serving on the above-mentioned Commission is encouraged to make inquiry and complete an application form to be considered by the City Council. Application forms and information regarding the duties and qualifications of the commission and what needs to be submitted in order to be considered may be obtained from and filed with the City Clerk, 3rd Floor, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo, CA or by calling (707) 648-4527. This clever adaptation of the famous game allows our members to put "Your Business" in the middle of the action where everyone can see it. You can choose to become a Major Sponsor, a Property Owner, a "Fate" card sponsor, a "Chamber" card sponsor or even the sponsor of the "Money" used in the game.
