Halloween is lurking around the corner. It seems like a fitting time for some adult fun including wine, food, fun and dress up. OK seriously, when isn't a good time to drink wine and dress up in scary  costumes? I can't think of a better opportunity than while you're heading off to Tesoro Winery in Old Town Temecula while wearing some gory monster outfit...or a cereal box. At least that way when you spill all over yourself you can just say that the red stains are part of your costume.
Tesoro owners Buzz and Kimberly Olson offer up to all children at heart an invitation to their annual Halloween Costume Party. According to Buzz," We started having this event because not everyone is out trick or treating with kids each year. We believe some folks are looking for a little frivolity in an adult environment - so we brought back the old fashion Halloween Costume Party. We play a little Monster Mash kind of music, have some food, share our fabulous wines and remember what its like to have fun!"

Tesoro Winery ... a dream becomes a reality!
In 2003, Buzz and Kimberly Olson purchased a beautiful plot of land on Rancho California Road -- Temecula, California's main road through wine country. Its vineyards on rolling hills and spectacular 360° view of the local mountains and valleys reminded them of Tuscany, Italy and led them to dream of developing the 20 acres into an Italian country complex including a winery and Bed & Breakfast-Villa.
Joining forces with family and close friends, Mary Might, Tom & Jamie Copenhaver, and a top rate winemaker, Etienne Cowper, The Olson's focus on a beautiful array of premium Mediterranean style wines.
Tesoro's new wine tasting room is now open in Old Town's Retail Shopping District on Old Town Front Street and we're open late -- after the "other" winery's are done for the day. Here Tesoro shares a taste of its growing line up of luxury wines with you, and shares some unique gifts in this unique tasting room. |
