I had a wonderful dream that I was a retailer selling all kinds of blue-chip Napa Cabernets, but somehow I was able to sell them at 1994 release prices. I couldn't believe it, I thought it was a miracle. I was deliriously happy in my repose, I felt relieved of a giant burden. I could sell wine at prices from 1994! A dream come true! Selling wine was going to be a piece of cake! Then, through my dreamlike haze, I heard a urgent shout. "Stef, you jackass! Are you going to send that offer or what?" Coral was standing over me and was brandishing a bottle of 2007 Caymus Special Selection. Nancy was gesticulating wildly. I was hazy and confused. I felt drugged. My ear was resting in a warm bean burrito. I looked up at my computer screen and saw that this was in fact REALLY HAPPENING. I was about to hit "SEND" on an offer of Caymus SS at 1994 prices. I looked at Coral and said: "is this OK? Am I OK? This can't be right..." "Yes, you fool! You've been crunching the numbers for an hour! Send it!"
