The Lemonade Brigade has been invited by the organizers of the Mandeville Seafood Festival to sell Kool-Aid and cookies at the Festival!  Why Kool-Aid you ask?  The Festival already has a lemonade vendor!  But since the Lemonade Brigade is a group of creative business owners who know how to move on to a Plan B, we are ready to jump at the opportunity to raise money by selling cold Kool-Aid to the thousands of hot and thirsty Mandeville Seafood Fest go-ers.

Our area will be by the Children's Corner and in addition to Kool-Aid and cookies, the teams can sell Lemonade Brigade baseball caps and raffle tickets for incredible items.  The teams will raffle off signed prints donated by local artist Jim Tweedy and gift baskets that are being donated to the Lemonade Brigade by Renee Louise Emerson and Zatarain's.  For more information about the gift baskets and Jim Tweedy's prints, read below.

If your team is interested in raising money at the 2008 Mandeville Seafood Festival, e-mail Kids Wanna Help at browns@kidswannahelp.com or call the Lemonade Brigade Hotline at 875-0407.  We will be making a schedule for all three days so that all teams that want to participate have an opportunity.

The Deadline for responding is
TUESDAY JUNE 24TH.

Fundraising Opportunites with

GIFT BASKETS

Renee Louise Emerson, a very talented and generous woman, is donating gift baskets to the Lemonade Brigade that the teams can raffle off at their lemonade stands.  Mrs. Emerson makes these gift baskets and fills them with lots of high quality gifts all centered around a theme or an age group.  The themes available are almost endless.  Each team can place an order for one basket to raffle off over the summer and there is no charge!  So put on your thinking caps and start thinking about what age group you want to target with your gift basket and whether you want to have a theme for your basket.  You can place your order by calling the Lemonade Brigade Hotline at 875-0407.

For the Mandeville Seafood Festival we will have three gift baskets made by Mrs. Emerson and Zatarain's has offered three more!  So we will have a total of six, two for each day.  The "baskets of the day" will stay at the stand for all of the shifts and each team will sell raffle tickets ($1 each or 12 for $10).  Each team keeps the money they collect from the raffle tickets during their shift and the last shift of the day pulls a name for each of the baskets and calls the winners!

PARENTS
Kids Wanna Help knows that all of the fundraising is being done by KIDS, but let's face it, kids can't drive themselves to the Lemonade Stands and the Lemonade Brigade parents have been great sports about underwriting the lemonade and ice.  So we have prizes for the parents of the team that wins 1st Place in Most Money Raised Over The Summer!  We call these parents the MOST PASSIONATE PARENTS.

The 2008 Most Passionate Parents can choose from the following prizes:

One-hour massage at Body Sugaring USA Day Spa
 (5 available)

Portrait of their child painted by
Wess Foreman   (1 available)

Portrait of their pet painted by
