NorthPointe's commitment to Meeting Planner education continued at a recent Morning Meeting Pointe on May 25, 2010. With more than 60 meeting professionals in attendance, NorthPointe hosted Laura Rees from
Shiny Door, a company that provides social networking guidance for the hesitant.
Laura discussed how using social media for events can increase not only attendance, but engagement from attendees during and following the event, engagement from an audience outside the event, and also followers and fans - thus promoting organization and event awareness.
