For your convenience, next week Cheryl Guzikowski (registered pharmacist) will be available to give flu shots HERE during coffee hour Nov. 6th.  Medicare Part B and some insurances do cover the vaccine.  If yours doesn't, you may also buy one for $28.99.  Cash, check(with ID) and credit card will be accepted.  Bring your insurance card.  Financial assistance may be available if you cannot afford the entire cost of the vaccine but want to receive one.  Please call Cheryl or her staff @ Osco: 312-243-2714 if you have any questions or would like to find out in advance if your shot is covered. North Side Housing Holiday Lunch

The Guests of the new Pantry, housed at St. Peter's, run by North Side Housing and Supportive Services, are being invited to a holiday lunch on Monday, November 21 from 1-4 PM. The lunch will be held in the Guild Room. North Side Housing will bring all the food, but we have been invited to help serve the meal. If possible, volunteers are asked to wear black pants and white shirts to create a restaurant style atmosphere. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the office at (773) 525-0844.

The Sharing Our Story Videos Go National
In October, St. Peter's posted short daily video clips featuring conversations with parishioners about how they've experienced God's grace. These videos were picked up nationally by The Episcopal Network for Stewardship, and portions of 16 interviews were combined to make a short film -- complete with a blooper reel!  The clips and film are available on the St. Peter's website www.stpeterschicago.org.

A Pledge Campaign Update
A hearty thank-you to the people who have already made their pledges of wealth, wisdom, and work for 2012. Right now, we're at 39 pledgers and $111,778 pledged. To expand our ministries and fully fund those we have now, our goal is 80 pledgers and $225,000. You can pick up a pledge card at the back of the church or ask one of the ushers for one.

Ministry Opportunity: Be an usher!
Do you have a friendly smile and a willingness to welcome people? Perhaps you'd enjoy being an usher.Duties include greeting and distributing programs, shaking hands during the peace, passing the offering plates and guiding people during communion. If this sounds like a ministry that you'd enjoy, please contact Steve McFadden who would love to tell you more.
