Welcome to our May 2012 Newsletter.
In the Grand Illusions Toy Shop, we have a marriage of old technology and new, where a little self assembly cardboard kit converts your iPhone into a picture-taking pocket microscope. You can see some of the pictures we took with it on the Grand Illusions web site. We have an amazing spinning top from Japan, with a most unusual action. And finally, Mikro Man has ventured into the rain forest. Possibly on the look out for endangered species!
'From the Web' continues the top theme, with a video showing Japanese fighting tops. Plus a series of amazing and beautiful videos from the Plankton Chronicles Project, plus a little novelty - a steam engine made entirely from glass!
