| Avoid Paying High Insurance Premiums |
A client had been paying very high premiums for over ten years because of a heart attack he understood that he had had in his early forties. RCM's review of the hospital records indicated that he had never had a heart attack.
RCM's next job will be to generate new medical evidence to prove to the insurers that this client's heart is normal. The results of his cardiac MRI and CT angiogram will be the evidence that he needs to pay much lower premiums. |

Unpaid claims are another source of angst for complex patients, especially when the patient has been paying insurance premiums for many years and perceives the claim to be valid.
When there is inadequate medical evidence to support the claim, RCM's job is to generate hard medical evidence.
