Meet Rep. Henry Waxman Wednesday at Community Forum

U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman will address the public in a community forum sponsored by the West Hills Neighborhood Council on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. at Shomrei Torah Synagogue, 7353 Valley Circle Blvd., West Hills.Rep. Henry Waxman  |
He has represented Chatsworth and West Hills since 2003, following
redistricting by the California Legislature in 2001.
Rep. Waxman chairs the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Oversight and Government Reform Committee. From the time he was first elected to Congress in 1974, he has taken a leadership role in shaping legislation relating to the environment and public health.
Other communities in his district include parts of Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Malibu, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. The forum is sponsored by the West Hills Neighborhood Council.
Rep. Waxman will deliver a brief address and then answer questions from the audience.
