To vote, you must live, work, own property, board a horse within the Council boundaries or declare a stake in the community, and must be at least 18 on the day of the election. Unlike the general election, you may register right at the polling place on the day of the election. The election will take place during the regular Neighborhood Council meeting.
 
All potential voters must complete a new stakeholder registration form, which is available online or at the door. Only simple identifying information is required to show that the person qualifies as a stakeholder. A stakeholder does not have to be registered as a voter for city, state or national elections to qualify for this election.
