Los Ángeles, CA; a 13 de agosto del 2010.- (Capitol Latin) Artistas de Capitol Latín se destacaron en las categorías mas cotizadas de la noche durante la sexta entrega de Premios Texas® 2010. Aleks Syntek, Diana Reyes y Pee Wee ofrecieron lo mejor de su música sobre el escenario de Premios Texas. El evento anual más importante y esperado donde se destaca lo mejor de la música latina. Dicha celebración se llevo a cabo desde el Long Center of Performing Arts en Austin, Texas.
El icono del pop Aleks Syntek, fue honrado con el mayor reconocimiento de la noche el premio Persona del Año por su trayectoria artística, lo recibió las manos del actor y director Edward James Olmos. Para cerrar la noche con broche de oro el cantautor se vio coronado con el galardón al Mejor Artista Rock / Pop en Español. Syntek conquistó una vez más al público con su éxito "Loca", un tema que se desprende de su producción discográfica "Métodos de placer instantáneo".
Entre giras, conciertos y grabaciones, la cantante grupera Diana Reyes hizo una parada para decir presente en esta entrega, donde salió ganadora en la categoría "Mejor Artista Regional Mexicano". La intérprete puso a todos los asistentes a bailar con su inmejorable estilo y se hizo dueña de la noche.
Pee Wee se llevo el galardón como Mejor Arista Masculino, y lució sobre el escenario. Además fue el encargado de entregar el premio más cotizado de la noche al Álbum del Año. El Intérprete de "Dulce Niña" aprovechó para hacer una firma de autógrafos previo al show.
La premiación será transmitida el 21 de agosto por los canales locales de Univisión en todo Texas y el 22 de agosto a nivel nacional por Galavisión.

ARTIST FROM CAPITOL LATIN SHINED AT
PREMIOS TEXAS 2010
ALEKS SYNTEK, DIANA REYES AND PEE WEE, WERE SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCES AT LONG CENTER OF PERFORMING ARTS DE AUSTIN, TX
Los Angeles, CA; August 13, 2010.- Capitol Latin artists picked up top honors during 6th annual installment of Premios Texas®. This is the most important and awaited ceremony in the loan star state; that highlights the best of Latin music. Aleks Syntek, Diana Reyes and Pee Wee stooped by the ceremony to showcase the best of their music from the stage of the Long Center of Performing Arts in Austin, Texas.
Mexican pop icon Aleks Syntek was honored with the Person of the Year Award, which was presented to him by renowned actor and director Edward James Olmos. He also picked up Best Rock/ Pop Artist award. Syntek, delighted the audience with his signature pop sound; with his hit "Loca", track that emerges from his album "Métodos de placer instantáneo".
Between tours, concerts and recordings the Mexican regional singer Diana Reyes took a break from her tour to be part of this special occasion, where she was awarded with the title for Best Regional Mexican Artist. The talented singer drove the audience off their seats to dance to the beat of her indisputable style and became the queen of the night.
Pee Wee took home one of the most sought out titles of the evening, Best Male Artist, and had a stellar performance; he was also commissioned to deliver the most desired award of the night, Album of the year. America's sweetheart took time to offer an autograph session for fans prior to the show.
The awards will be broadcasted on August 21st on Univision throughout Texas and August 22 nationally on Galavision Networks.
