board candidates from District 11 and District 2.

What: Jan Martin and Andy McElhany will each provide brief presentations to set the context for a community conversation. Are things like public transportation, city parks and community centers luxuries or necessities? Does our communal assessment change depending on the current economic conditions? If we deem these things necessities, how should we pay for them? Join Dream City for a facilitated community dialogue on these important issues facing the community.

Televised debate on 2C
When: Wednesday October 7, 6:30pm
Where: Carnegie Room at Penrose Library, 20 North Cascade
What: News First 5 is hosting a live-televised debate on Measure 2C along with the Gazette, the Independent and the Pikes Peak Library District. Councilwoman Jan Martin and former State Senate Minority Leader Andy McElhany will take questions from members of the local media and the public. Watch it live on News First Channel 5 and NewsFirst5.com.
