Ballet DancerFor the second spring in a row, my commute from home to the office has been more entertaining by virtue of the people I pass along the way.  Once the snow has melted, we want to get outdoors and enjoy the warm, fresh air.

This seemed especially true of a pair of young girls, who I imagine may very well be sisters, standing in a very muddy driveway.  The older girl appeared to be around ten or so and the younger girl was likely six or seven.

Now, I'm certainly no dance aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, but that little ten year old was holding a beautiful arabesque ballet pose.  Standing tall right next to her, looking up with a giant smile from ear to ear was a very happy little sister.

It was an excellent image that lasted all but a few seconds as I drove by.  I have no doubt that they continued to play and dance until the sun disappeared.

Help For Tax payers

IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman announced in January that the agency will be sensitive to taxpayers stung by the recession. The IRS will consider suspending collection actions, granting short-term extensions of time to pay, allowing taxpayers to miss a payment under an installment agreement, and revisiting offers-in-compromise to help distressed taxpayers. The IRS chief has also said that help will only be given to taxpayers who ask and taxpayers must have a history of compliance.
