 Training for Supplier Success
Georgia's award winning electronic procurement system, better known as Team Georgia Marketplace™, would not be successful without supplier participation. Therefore, the Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS), State Purchasing Division continues to provide extensive supplier training and help desk support for our procurement partners. From our Web site, www.doas.ga.gov, simply navigate to the supplier portal to review free online and classroom trainings scheduled each month.
Since the launch of Team Georgia Marketplace™ in January 2009, our procurement trainer Dorna Scott has led more than 50 classroom trainings at various locations throughout the state. We will continue to provide these opportunities in Fiscal Year 2011. Outside of the classroom environment (i.e., orientations and seminars), our site includes supplier training clips and videos, quick reference guides, and a plethora of easy-to-access information to aid your future success as a State of Georgia supplier.

Statewide Contract Index Migrates
to Team Georgia Marketplace™
On July 15, 2010, the Statewide Contract Index moved from its previous home on the State Purchasing home page to Team Georgia Marketplace™. This migration brings enhanced search features and ease of use to you, our valued customers. So get ready to view all the information previously displayed on the Statewide Contract Index more efficiently.
See for yourself how quickly you can find statewide contract information using the new and improved Index. We have prepared a short presentation, which covers use of the application as a member of the public or as an authorized Window Shopper.
