Price analysis was conducted on Statewide Contract (SWC) 99999-SPD-SPD0000068-0001 for Integrated Pest Management Services after receiving numerous waiver requests from state entities, colleges and universities. The data showed that the aforementioned users were paying more money for pest management services using the statewide contract than they were paying either using their previously existing agreements or through open market purchases. Based on these findings, DOAS has exercised the right to terminate the SWC for convenience effective June 1, 2012 as provided in the SWC terms and conditions. Therefore, as of today, agencies, colleges and universities are no longer required to use the SWC. For those agencies that have already entered into agreements under the SWC, those agencies may continue to operate under those agreements.
