COMMUNICATIONS ALERT
Expiration of Statewide Contract for Drug Testing Kits - Contract #SWC90808
The statewide contract for drug testing kits expires on May 31, 2012. The State Purchasing Division does not intend on extending the current contract or pursuing a new statewide contract for drug testing kits. In September 2011, the State Use Council, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 50-5-136, approved drug testing kits for inclusion as mandatory items on the State Use Procurement List. Based on this approval, drug testing kits will be provided by Georgia Enterprises for Products & Services (GEPS) in partnership with their sub-tier supplier, Redwood Toxicology beginning on June 01, 2012. Drug testing kits supplied by GEPS will be available for purchase within Team Georgia MarketplaceTM or by calling GEPS directly at 800-331-4807.
Note that this change does not affect the drug test program contract (SWC60732). The drug test program is a separate contract and will continue according to its own contract term duration.
