Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As the summer comes to a close, we hope each of you have enjoyed a wonderful season in this truly great RI weather. Lodge 16 has been busy donating blood and selling tickets for our cash raffle which culminates with a family cookout on October 3rd at the Kelly Gazzaro Post.

Also, it is with a heavy heart we must share the news of the passing of our Brother Frank Staskiewicz. Keep Frank's family in your thoughts and prayers.

As we look forward toward the initiatives of the fall and winter, we are hopeful that we will continue to make a positive impact in the Town of Johnston.

Remember to check the website often for updates.

All the Best,

In Memoriam
Our Brother Frank J. Staskiewicz, Sr. passed away. Our deepest sympathies are extended to his sons Frank Jr., Michael and Stephen, as well as his 6 grandchildren. We remember fondly his late wife Beverly.

Frank was born in Providence, and was the  son of the late Franciszek J. and Bella M. (Ruginsky) Barzydlo.

Frank was assigned to the Bureau of Criminal Identification for the Johnston Police Department, and later in the same capacity for the Office of the Rhode Island Attorney General for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Rhode Island National Guard, Johnston FOP Lodge 16- Sergeant of Arms, Cranston Fish & Game Association, Field & Stream Club, and the Johnston Democratic Town Committee for many years. He was an avid Providence Bruins fan, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He will be sadly missed.
