Tibetan Heart Yoga is a style of yoga that combines inner and outer methods of yoga -- using the breath, the body and the mind together -- to create phenomenal personal results. By working from the inside with meditation and intention, as well as working from the outside with our asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing), we learn how to practice true yoga.
Beginners will learn how to perform the yoga postures and establish a strong foundation for their practice. More experienced yogis will receive the benefits of a practice that harnesses the power of our prana (energy/life force) and helps us to relate to our body on a level beneath the gross physical plane. No matter what your level, be prepared to transfom yourself, re-image your perception of the body, and explore your understanding of the inner body's relationship to the outer world.
Taught by certified Tibetan Heart Yoga teacher Annie Wong using meditation, imagery and physical asana taken from ancient texts.
Join Annie for this special practice to start off the new decade.

Yoga equips us with both the ability and the opportunity to relax and learn to breathe, while also becoming immersed in a physical challenge. The practice of yoga helps kids begin to develop a healthy image of their bodies and minds while they learn to skillfully channel their energy in useful ways. In this yoga program, a team of two teachers will teach traditional yoga postures, breathing exercises and yoga philosophies.
Kids will warm up with flowing sequences, including Sun Salutations, and will experience many postures.
