| Featured Alum: Christopher Peabody '02 of Peabody Office Furniture | Peabody Office Furniture is a family owned and operated local Boston business, started by my great-grandfather in 1899. I began in the business in 1996 and worked through every position within the company. Warehouse deliveries through sales management. I took over in May 2011 as CEO, as the 4th generation. I rolled out a new business model last June and have been working hard since then implementing it. Although primarily focusing on sales, I have also developed a sustainability plan for our organization, for which we received an award from A Better City for the Most Improved Company in 2011, as well as the Most Energy Efficiency Improvements. With our new business plan we are in the process of a major downtown renovation of our showroom and workspace, and hoping to unveil that in August of this year. I live in North Reading with my wife Julie, and two children, Merina, 5, and George 4.
Currently, Peabody Office Furniture is hiring for 2 positions. Please feel free to forward the descriptions to qualified candidates. |

Today, the Mothers' Walk pays homage to all the caregivers in our lives. The title wall is located near the Rings Fountain and features the name of the Greenway's namesake, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, as well as Charlotte R.
