On Tuesday, September 11th, Dr. Chi Huang ('05 Senior Fellow) gave a very special presentation about his experiences serving the street children of Bolivia, reading excerpts from his book, "When Invisible Children Sing". Many ELP alum were on hand to learn about the struggles these children face and about what Chi has done to advocate for a forgotten population. To learn how you can help Chi fight to give these children a better life, go to http://www.bolivianstreetchildren.org/v2/index.php.

Special thanks to the Alumni Board for organizing this event, and thank you to State Street Corporation for hosting.

Brief History of ELP

The Emerging Leaders Program is an executive training program for professionals in the Greater Boston area. In the program they will enhance their leadership skills and learn how to work effectively with other leaders toward specific goals. Each fall, a group of "fellows" is chosen for a ten-month program involving a weeklong seminar, followed by monthly meetings and team projects. At its conclusion, fellows have honed their individual leadership skills in several areas, including networking, communication, conflict resolution, the political process, entrepreneurship, media relations, and teamwork.
