Summer Institute to encourage participation in the arts!

Junior High and High School students are invited to complete a two-week intensive theatre program focused on the theme of identity. Seasoned Penumbra artists will teach classes in Acting, Dance, Creative Writing and History (and more!) culminating in a final performance on the Penumbra stage!
Now in it's 20th year, SI has trained hundreds of young people to become active participants in their communities, challenging them to use the craft of theatre to create social change. Many former students have gone on to excel in the arts...you may have even seen one on the Penumbra stage!
