Line 9: Incident Narrative -  Five inmates started to riot at the Bonneville County Jail Sunday afternoon.  Just after 5pm Sunday afternoon, a call from the Bonneville County Jail staff made notification to 911 dispatches that a riot had started to happen. Drugs and alcohol were involved.  The riot started from a homemade brew called squawky.

Inmates were very inebriated and high on drug use also. Less lethal forces used, OC spray, which is a pepper spray, tasers and bean bag guns.  All used on the out of control inmates.  Officers, deputies and troopers from four different agencies responded.

42 inmates are housed in each dorm.. Responding agencies were on scene within 90 minutes after the initial call for help went out.

Line 10: Additional Information
-
All inmates are accounted for and the institution is on lock-down status. Visiting has been closed for the afternoon.  Apparently inmates inside the jail get garbage bags each day during meals and they take those bags and when they get fruit and juices during meals they put them inside the bags.  Then they're able to get bread and put that inside the bag as well, so it starts a fermenting process.  The incident "TOC" was notified of incident for notification purposes.  (Classified details Not yet available WWCN System)
