Line 9: Incident Narrative - CO - Two inmates were killed and five injured Sunday in a fight at a high-security federal prison in the same Florence complex that houses the maximum-security "Supermax." The inmates died after a fight in the prison's recreation yard about 12:30 p.m. The five inmates injured in the fight were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
CA - The men's central jail in Orange County remained in lockdown Sunday, two days after a fight broke out between inmates. Hispanic and black inmates got into a fight Friday night, causing the lockdown. About 100 inmates were involved in the brawl and eleven suffered minor injuries.
